Εarly Warning & Crisis Management for Hymettus Mountain

Challenge​

Municipalities that are geographically connected to the mountain of Hymettus have formed a cluster (SPAY) with the purpose to safeguard the mountain from wildfires and promote the cultural heritage of the area. ​

Solution

The scope of the project includes actions related with 2 main fields of the same Information System:​

• Civil Protection Coordination and Crisis Management Actions (based on smart algorithms, GIS, IS technology etc.)​
• Development of Hymettus Mountain and Environmental Consciousness at the Municipalities (omnichannel, digital services to the Municipalities, digital infrastructure for visitors, smart information spots etc.)​
